Get Fit Boston is a personal fitness training service that truly cares. We understand the challenges and barriers that our clients face, and together we overcome them.
Adam Engelman (Owner of Get Fit Boston) was born and raised in Uncasville, CT and has been a resident of Boston since 2004. As a teenager, fitness grew from a personal passion to a way of life. This led him to pursue and attain a BS in Applied Exercise Science from Springfield College in Springfield, MA. While learning how to both transform and heal the human body at Springfield College, his love of helping people from a wide-array of backgrounds/goals came to the forefront. This inspired him to open his own personal training studio, manage a large multi-sport fitness center, train high-level collegiate and professional athletes at a strength and conditioning facility, as well as personally train hundreds of Bostonians at a local health club. Throughout his 15-year career, continuing education has been a huge priority for Adam. He’s certified through the gold standard in personal training - the American College of Sports Medicine - as well as another world-renowned personal training organization - the National Strength & Conditioning Association. Adam also possesses two specialty certifications – one from the Russian Kettlebell Challenge and one from Functional Movement Systems. This brings us to today – 2013! Adam now owns Get Fit Boston (www.getfitboston.com). Get Fit Boston’s mission is to provide the most results-driven personal fitness training service to Bostonians. Adam gets that working out isn’t everyone’s passion or hobby so he makes every effort to make exercise fun!
